Ceramic band heaters comprise a resistive wire inserted into a ceramic core. These core elements are hinged, giving the heating band high flexibility. A stainless steel or Inconel sheet equipped with fixing screws protects the heating band assembly and enables it to be mounted on the part to be heated. Suitable for a maximum operating temperature of 700 °C, ceramic heating bands can be connected to the power supply via threaded terminals or cables.
